How to make and use Cond DB snapshots

1) Log on to plus with account online

2) cd /home/online/MakeDBSnapshots or getpack Hlt/HltPiquetScripts

3) lb-run LHCb v<latest> bash

4) python MakeSnapShot.py

4a) You might have to change the DataType in MakeSnapShot.py to the current year.

5) Answer the questions

6) copy the generated *.db files to /group/online/hlt/conditions

7) ls *.db to check that the snapshot is there

8) cd manifest

9) edit MOORE_v12r6p1 (for example) put in the new tags

10) go to the pit

11) stop the run

12) edit runinfo

13) create/edit PHYSICS trigger configuration

14) click on the new tag, select it

15) save the PHYSICS configuration

16) go back to LHCb, in VIEW, select the PHYSICS configuration, HLT will reset, put LHCb into RUNNING
