How to link against the latest version of the Online software

• The released versions of the Online software that are available in the pit can be found in the release area:

        /sw/lib/lhcb/ONLINE/ONLINE_vxry
     

• However, patches are usually immediately applied and put into

       /home/online/ONLINE/Online_vxry
     

• The production version can be found in /home/online/online_prod.tmp
• To link agains the latest version of the Online software (i.e. the one in /home/online/ONLINE/Online_vxry), in your projects cmt/project.cmt file add the (case sensitive) line

      use Online_vxry
      

• Then do make
